KFC

Second only to McD's, if you go in here, you're bound to see one of our students.

We all know what the menu is like in KFC, and the KFC here in Segamat is no different from any other KFC around the country. I admit I sometimes come in here for the sheer uniformity of the placewhen I feel like I'm missing home. Somehow, there's a quiet reassurance in having something thats a constant.

KFC has good chicken, which I think is why their fish dishes are forgiven for being below par. Drop in here when you feel like some hot, crispy fried chicken with side dishes of coleslaw, mash potatoes, maybe some cheesy wedges and a cold soda.

The food is, i suppose, Finger Licking Good, but it also Makes My Wallet Empty. Yeah, loaded in fat, calories, oil and crispy, crunchy, fried-heaven and costing quite a pinch, I'd say this is best a once in a while kinda stop. You can pretty much expect it to be packed full during the Ramadan month. Another time we see lots of students is when there's a gathering or its someone's bithday.

Whats popular here is the Snack / Dinner plates, and the Zinger Maxx, although personally I like the Hand-tossed Garden Salad with Popcorn Chicken very much too.
