Who or What are the Joey and the Wombat?
The Joey and the Wombat are unique Malaysian brands of Australian animals born, bred and raised on nasi lemak, chappati and kueyteow goreng. Originating from the concrete jungle of KL, they have been illegally shipped to the southern-most state of Johor, where they constantly quest of food..
The Joey
The Joey has moodswings. Sometimes people wonder where she gets the energy, or how come she is sluggish. She is usually clumsy, sometimes polite, occasionally listens to rock, but sometimes grooves to jazz. Either way whatever she is that day, she is always, always hungry. Known as a bottomless pit in her household, she packs it all away regardless of the remorse that will come when she reports an expanded waistline later. Her intense and obsessive love for food is what drives her(together with her good friend the Wombat) on their journey to the best meals.
The Wombat
A lazy being who rarely sleeps in the day, the Wombat has a long lasting passion for food, books, music, and the box a.k.a. the telly. She enjoys observing people as part of her pastime, and is as blur as she looks. Indulges in almost every sweet and spicy food and things she can get her hands on, this wombat would be a very good companion to bring out for 'makan-makan' at any time of the day!
Why Bite?
Bite Sized Segamat is a website created as an assignment for a course taken by two students from the MARA Universty of Technology; Johor branch. The course, Information Technology for Business is taught by Ms. Jaslin; both the Joey and the Wombat are from class BMD5B1, a happy little bunch who are currently stressing over presenting their various websites to said lecturer.
